Answers and questions (FAQ)

  • What is the difference between juice, nectar and juice-containing beverage?

Juice is a product that consists of 100% fruits or vegetables. It is made either by pressing fresh fruits or from a concentrated juice. There are no preservatives, coloring agents, artificial flavors or flavors identical to natural. Only natural substances that are obtained from fruits and berries, can be used as a flavor.

Nectar is a product that contains of natural juice in the amount from 25% to 50%, the remaining constituents are water, sugar and citric acid. Even the slightest addition of preservatives, as well as artificial flavors is not allowed. But it does not mean that nectar is worse than natural juice. Indeed, there is fruit, juice from which it is impossible to drink - a sour cherry, for example.

    Juice-containing beverage (JCB)

Certainly, a drink, in which the content of natural raw materials is less than 25% is on the last place. Besides, the list of ingredients is added with dyes, flavors, citric acid, and preservatives.

It is a drink in which the fruit fraction is less than in nectars - from 10% to 25%. In addition to sugar and citric acid, these beverages can be supplemented with artificial flavoring, dye, sugar substitute, pulp stabilizer, and other food additives. Thus, it's hard to find vitamins, but just to quench the thirst, this drink will suit perfectly.

  • Is it possible to determine why the mold has been occured?

Of course it is possible. In order to do this, the buyer must provide a problematic package of juice. The juice sample from each batch is stored in the factory in a special archive during the year. It can always be compared with a pack from the point of sale. If the sample has no problems, then all the other packages of this batch are similar. Further, we need to examine the package for the matter of damage and the mold. There are many kinds of mold. Looking at its appearance, you can immediately understand under what conditions it has occurred in the package. In any case, the cause is the depressurization and this cause needs to be clarified. Employees of Agromir plant are always ready to take the juice for examination into their laboratory and conduct an expert study in an independent laboratory, because they are sure of their product.

  • Where does the mold in juices come from??

«Bliss» and «Meva» juices are natural, without preservatives, and therefore, as in any live juice, mold can be wind up in it. Mold does not live with preservatives. But! In order to get the mold started, its seeds must somehow penetrate into the package. The production lines of Agromir are arranged in such a way that no bacteria or seeds can survive in the juice during the production process. The cycle is completely closed. Consequently, if there is a mold appeared in the juice, the only reason is the depressurization of the package. In other words, the package has a hole somewhere through which air gets in, being inseminated with moldy seeds.

    Causes of depressurization:

    - The package might be damaged when loading or transporting to the point of sale;

    - The package could be damaged at the point of sale,

    - The human factor is also possible, but it is extremely rare in the Agromir factory, because each package of juice passes through many checks with powerful sensors. The only chance, when it can happen is a moment of a sudden stop of the conveyer, when 4 lids remain in the machine. But even in this case, the personnel undertake the necessary measures for the lids to sit evenly without damaging the package.

    - There have been cases when dishonest people opened the lid, breaking the protective ring, at the point of sale. They drank the juice, twisted the lid and put the juice on place, on the counter. Such cases are especially frequent during the conduct of actions in which something is painted under the lid.

Therefore, when buying juice, be sure to check the integrity of the protective ring. It should fit snugly against the lid and be fixed on it. Protective ring should not be sagged down.

  • Do the «winter» and «summer» juices differ?

In order to guarantee the buyer a certain taste of his/her favorite juice, there is a restoration of the juice from the fruit concentrate, which is produced exactly in the period when each particular fruit is especially good. This method allows to guarantee a certain taste, sweetness, aroma and density for each batch, regardless of the year season.

Apples, tomatoes, grapes, cherries are mainly from the suburbs of Samarkand and Samarkand region, including own gardens of Agromir. Pomegranates and quinces are supplies from Surkhandarya. Raspberries, blackberries and strawberries come from Tashkent and the Tashkent region. Raspberries and blackberries from the Bostanlyk district are especially good.

  • Where do pineapples, oranges and other tropical fruits come from? They are not grown in Uzbekistan. Is powder added to the juice?

There is no powder or any other preservatives in the production. Likewise, the juice from domestic apples, cherries, blackberries, peaches, apricots and other fruits is thickened at the plants of Agromir company; countries in which pineapples, mangoes, oranges and other exotics grow well, produce juice from them and thicken by the evaporation of excess water. Thus, absolutely natural concentrate (very thick juice in a paste state) is obtained.

Precisely this concentrate is purchased for the production of juices with exotic tastes.

  • Without the addition of preservatives, how can juice not deteriorate so long?

Temperature treatment, sterile production conditions and packaging properties allow the packaged juice to be stored for up to one year. Conduction of ultra-pasteurization - heating at high pressure - allows to save more vitamins than sterilization, due to the reduction of temperature. It is the high pressure that allows to lower the temperature, and at the same time to kill all harmful bacterial flora. The multi-layered packaging structure of Tetra Pak protects juice from penetration of light and oxygen, so it can be stored for up to one year.

The juice is exported to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, India, Kyrgyzstan and China. In addition to the finished products in the form of juices, a ready concentrate of fruit is exported. Concentrated juices are exported to Russia and Kazakhstan, where the juices of several popular brands are restored.

  • Is it necessary to store packaged juices in the fridge so they do not deteriorate?

It is not necessary to store it in the fridge before opening the package. The juice should be stored there only after opening the package, and at the same time no more than a day. Until this moment, the juice is protected against negative influences by multi-layered sealed package.

This particular package has several layers, and each of them is important. For example, the inner layer of polyethylene provides a tightness, aluminum foil protects against air and light, which destroys the useful properties of the product, the cardboard provides strength and form of packaging and, finally, the top layer of polyethylene protects it from moisture. Therefore, an unopened juice package can be stored at room temperature, and cooling is not required.
